The Gaja brand was founded in 1859 by Giovanni Gaia, the great-grandfather of the current owner Angelo Gaja, and for 5 generations, belongs to the Gaia family. To date, Gaja Winery has vineyards with a total area of 250 hectares, located in the province of Tuscany and Piedmont.
