Porto Valriz Colheita de 1958
Sob consulta
Vinified in mills with foot steps, was aged for 24 years in brown wood toners (bottled in 1984). Auburn golden color, with very complex aromas, fine spices of the family of vanilla, coming from the hulls where it aged and flavor with a very soft entry, noting yet the freshness of the wine (from the year 1958), very silky in the mouth with very subtle but thick contact. Rich aromas of complex aging in the mouth, intense and very fine to be quite persistent even after the wine disappears from the mouth.

Suggestions
This is an excellent wine to serve with soft cheeses, cured cheeses, foie gras, liver pastas and dried fruits. Serve at a temperature of 16 to 18ºC. It will have to be opened 1-2 hours in advance. It is a wine that by its age should deserve to be “waited” for it in the glass to demonstrate its complexity in both the aroma and the mouth. Age (+ 50 years) deserves respect (time).
